Take a 6-foot Ear, some music-crazed teens,
and a high school gymnasium and what have you got? A week-long
casting call to teens all over the Bay Area - and a fun challenge
for director Bill Bayne. For client Earbud.org, the assignment
was to create a giant Ear that was realistic, articulate,
and most of all, funny.
Working with agency DeCarolis Design and the internationally
renowned House Ear Institute, Coyote Films crafted an engaging
spot that focused on one teen's inability to connect with
the world around him - and the huge invisible ear that teaches
him how.
Designed to promote to the protection of young people's hearing,
the sponsored campaign is slated to run on MTV, Yahoo.com
and MTV.com.
